Madhya Pradesh Sthapna Diwas

Jimmy McGilligan Centre For sustainable Development in collaboration with Sustainable Food Network Indore celebrated the Madhya Pradesh Sthapna Diwas at Ravi Sethi nursery/farm on the main Bicholi Mardana road. It was attended by all the members of Sustainable Food Network including prominent promoters of organic farming Ajit Kelkar, Anand Thakur, Arun Dike and solar Energy industrialist and environmentalists like Amrish Kela, Solar Engneer s like Uday Bhole and Susmita Bhattacharjee, Ravi Gupta the Cordinator of the network , Nanda , Rajendra Chohan..The National Coordinator of Solar Food Processing Network India, Janak Palta McGilligan welcomed all the members and explained that Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has declared to make MP an organic state and the the main purpose is to join hands to work at grass root level to promote organic farming, solar food processing, training, research and development of all related technologies that should add value to farmers' products and improve the quality of life of the people in Madhya Pradesh. The Network planned to soon open a weekly haat for organic products and Jimmy McGilligan centre will continue conduct awareness and training programs on organic and solar food processing.
